Medical School Taught You Medicine. This Series Covers Everything Else.

Running a medical practice means running a business: staffing, cash flow, contracts, technology, compliance, and growth. Most physicians and administrators learn it the hard way, one expensive lesson at a time.

Our Simplifying the Business of Medicine workshops and webinars exist to shortcut that learning curve. Each session takes one real operational challenge and breaks it down into clear, practical steps drawn from decades of DoctorsManagement consulting engagements with practices across the country.

Topics rotate from month to month, but the goal never changes: you leave every session with something you can apply to your practice immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before your first session.

How much do the workshops and webinars cost?

Nothing. Every session in the Simplifying the Business of Medicine series is free to attend. Our goal is to give practice owners and administrators genuinely useful strategies, and to introduce you to how DoctorsManagement thinks about the business of medicine.

Who should attend?

The series is built for physicians, practice owners, practice administrators, office managers, and anyone planning to start or grow a medical practice. Sessions are practical rather than academic, so anyone involved in running the business side of a practice will find value.

How do I register?

Each session is hosted live on Microsoft Teams with its own registration link, available on this page. You can also submit the Save Your Seat form and we will email you the registration details for every upcoming session.

What if I can't attend live?

Register anyway. Registrants receive follow-up materials after each session and early notice of upcoming topics, so you'll never miss what was covered.

Can I ask questions about my specific practice?

Yes. Live Q&A is a core part of every session. For questions that need a deeper look at your numbers and operations, you can schedule a free Discovery Call with a DoctorsManagement consultant, and we'll dig into your practice specifically.

What happens after the workshop?

That's up to you. Many attendees simply apply what they learned. Others want help implementing, and that's where DoctorsManagement's Practice Management, Practice Assessment, Revenue Cycle Management, and other service lines come in. There is never any obligation.
