As the HR Services Director, Philip blends his extensive experience in human resources management with a passion for helping physicians and practice managers implement the best practices of HR management. Philip helps clients with regulatory compliance, personnel policies, information management, compensation and benefits, and staff development. He has developed numerous HR tools and manuals that are used by medical practices across the country.
Philip provides clients with an assessment of their HR procedures and then helps them prioritize and implement an HR plan based on their business objectives. Philip’s clients appreciate his dedication to helping them ease the burdens and risks of HR management and compliance. They find that day-to-day HR management becomes easier and they have more time to focus on patient care.
Philip earned an undergraduate degree in pre-law from Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s Degree in health planning and administration from the University of Tennessee. Prior to joining DoctorsManagement in 1995, Philip worked in HR at a large metropolitan hospital, as a business manager for a community hospital, and as a generalist providing HR and OSHA services in a medical practice.
